Home. It's where the Legos are.

I found someone hiring a graphic designer in my city.. and their portfolio had some pretty bad things. I'm not saying my stuff is good, but it sure did give me some confidence.

So, practice: Took me about.. 3 hours? I 3D modeled the legos in 3D Studio Max 2009 and then took it into photoshop to.. touch it up. I can see little problems with the blue lighting I had in.. but overall, I think it is okay for the first one I've done.

Tomorrow I'll need a new idea to practice with..

Caprica Six and enslavement camps on alien planets!

I bet ALL of my viewers have just been wondering "Just what has that feller been doin'?" and I'll show you! ALL TWO OF YOU!

Started painting Trisha Helfer (Cylon number Six! Caprica Six! The woman in the red dress!)..


I realize now that I don't completely draw what I see.. which I want to try and work on that for the next few weeks.

So to start, I erased, drew, erased, drew, erased, and then drew some more.. This was the best one I got I guess. For some reason.. picasaweb seems to invert this jpg and only this jpg..


Also, I've been working on this for a while.. it's gone through multiple phases too. lol An enslavement camp on an alien planet where our main character is first viewing the planet.

ABORJELVIS - The King, Son of God, Ant Boar.

And the world was created in 6 days.. and on the 7th day god rested. The next day, God realized that his creations were too safe.. Unprepared for the real world.. so he combined the strength of an ant, the speed of a boar, the beautiful beard of Jesus (shaved off because it's hot on the barren plains of this alien planet), and the greased up curly hair-do of a would-be King who could woo a teen from the 1950's to death.

This Aborjelvis struck fear into the hearts of Gods creations, and it was good.

Alien Enslavement Camp Concepts?

Hm, trying to convey fear and the feeling of being lost in this slave encampment. Decided to focus on the different types of slave quarters and whatnot before trying to do the whole thing again.. Smart, right?

Once upon a time, I had this dog.. then I painted this dog in photoshop.

Her name is Mandy and she chews my shoes up on a daily basis if I don't hide them.
